We invest in research activities through formalized partnerships with Italian universities such as the University of L'Aquila, the University of Chieti-Pescara, the University of Sannio, and the Politecnico of Milan.

Of particular note is our partnership with JADS (Jheronimus Academy of Data Science), a collaborative project between two prestigious Dutch universities (Eindhoven University of Technology and Tilburg University) dedicated to data science research and education.

In recent years, Smart Shaped has embraced innovation by integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into various projects.

Data Science
Smart Shaped is actively involved in Data Science research. In particular, we are working on a project to develop an ML framework based on the Lambda Architecture.

The Lambda Architecture, implemented in an enterprise project, enhances analytical capabilities by handling both batch and real-time data. The Batch Layer stores and processes historical data, enabling accurate predictive models. The Speed Layer processes real-time data, providing essential updates for immediate applications. The Serving Layer combines the results of Batch and Speed, balancing accuracy and speed. This integration enables more precise machine learning models, optimizing data usage for effective and up-to-date modeling.
Blockchain Technologies
Over the years, the Smart Shaped team has developed a deep understanding of blockchain technologies and their applications across various industries. This expertise has been acquired through the completion of numerous projects for clients of different sizes and operating sectors.

In particular, we have worked on a low-code blockchain modeling platform, which has enabled us to develop the necessary know-how. This allows our team to tackle any blockchain challenge.
